This won't be long...I just wanted to say that I'm thankful for our country. No, it's not perfect, but I would challenge you to find one that is--and until you do, you have to admit that we have one of the greatest republics in the world.
I'm thankful for the 'intolerant' people who decided that they would seek another land for their religious freedom.
I'm thankful for the brave men who stood up to the tyrrany of those who would demand taxation without representation.
I'm thankful for the brilliant minds who sought after God's heart when writing our founding documents.
I'm thankful for the men (and women) who risked all that they had so that we could be free.
I'm thankful to be born in America.
